Should we do an engagement session?
Short Answer: Yes Yes Yes!
Long Answer: Definitely. We can’t stress the importance of the engagement sessions enough. It’s our time to bond, become friends, and get to know each other, while at the same time having fun and taking some really awesome pictures together. The engagement sessions will allow you to get comfortable in front of our cameras and with our shooting style before your wedding day.
When is the engagement session done?
Normally before the wedding, 2 months, 2 weeks, 2 days, we´ll schedule it.
Where should we meet for our engagement session?
We can shoot it anywhere, but it’s best if together we can come up with a concept that reflects who you are as a couple. Some ideas for some meaningful places to the both of you may be:
- The place you first met
- Your first date
- Where you live
- Your favorite hang out spot
- Your favorite hobbies
How long is the engagement session?
Aprox 2 hours.
What type of pictures should we expect from the engagement session?
Our engagement sessions are a mix of candid as well as posed portrait shots.
What should we wear for our engagement session?
We recommend you to wear something that is comfortable, yourself, easy to move around in, and won’t get you upset if we get a little messy. : ) Bring another look to get pictures in another mood. No logos please and if possible, avoid stripes.

¿Debemos hacer una sesión de engagement?
Respuesta corta: Si, si, si!!
Respuesta larga: Definitivamente si, no podemos insistir demasiado en la importancia de la sesión de engagement. Es nuestro espacio para conocernos, hacernos amigos, divertirnos y al mismo tiempo hacer unas fotos increíbles. La sesión de engagement nos dará la posibilidad de que estén cómodos frente a la cámara el día de la boda.
¿Cuando se hace la sesión de engagement?
Normalmente se hace antes de la boda… 2 meses, 2 semanas, 2 dias… nos pondremos de acuerdo!
¿Donde debemos hacer la sesión de engagement?
La podemos hacer donde quieran, pero es mejor hacerla en un lugar que refleje quienes son como pareja. Es buena idea que si vamos a usar 2 lugares no estén muy lejos uno del otro para no perder tiempo. Aquí hay algunas ideas:
- El lugar donde se conocieron
- Su primera cita
- En donde vivien
- Lugares donde les gusta pasar el tiempo
- Hobbies o actividades que hagan juntos
¿Y como cuanto tiempo dura la sesión?
Aproximadamente 2 horas.
¿Que tipo de fotos debemos esperar de la sesión de engagement?
Sean una mezcla de retratos posados y espontáneos.
Perfecto y ahora… ¿Que me pongo?
Recomendamos que usen algo en donde se sientan cómodos y llevar un cambio de ropa para poder darle variedad a las fotos. ¡Evita ropa con logos y rayas!
